Diversity was a key concern
The February event featured daily keynotes from former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Joshua Walker, a Stanford law professor and author of On Legal AI. A very timely keynote was from Stacey Abrams on the role of the legal industry in the bigger issues the country is facing.

It wasn’t until the day before her keynote address that Ms. Abrams received her nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts to achieve nonviolent change through voting. As a former tax attorney, lawmaker and candidate for governor, she made it clear to everyone in attendance that there is still a lot of work to be done to promote diversity and create opportunities, both in society and in the business world.
