Tim Haney has been named the Company’s next Canadian Chief Executive Officer, effective February 1, 2022, succeeding Beth Wilson in that position. Haney will join the firm’s global management committee and board of directors, leading the firm and its 600 attorneys in offices in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. His main areas of activity are M&A, securities and corporate finance.

The firm also announced a new strategic partnership with Rose-Mary Basham, a Vancouver-based litigation attorney with over four decades of experience, and welcomed Pamela Sheppard as a partner in the Vancouver litigation and dispute resolution group.

Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP

The firm announced the appointment of Alison Oxtoby as counsel to the estate planning group. It is based in the BC region.

“Alison’s experience with complex multi-party estate planning strengthens our team,” said William Westeringh, managing partner of the firm with offices in Vancouver and Surrey, in a press release.

Goldblatt Partners LLP

Mark Rowlinson, a labor law practitioner, joined the firm’s Toronto office as a partner effective November 1.
