The firm has added Alan Merskey, a new litigation and restructuring bankruptcy partner, to its Toronto office. Merskey, a seasoned bankruptcy attorney, has worked for bailiffs, debtors and creditors on contentious restructuring matters such as the restructuring of public and private companies.

Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP

Adam Lewinberg is the new partner in infrastructure and projects in the firm’s Toronto office. Lewinberg has worked on large and complex construction projects, complex procurements and structured finance, including public-private partnership / alternative finance.

“He brings extensive experience to our infrastructure and project group that will be of great benefit to our customers,” said Martin Denyes, regional managing partner for the Ontario region, in a press release.

The company has created a new intellectual property group that advises clients across the technology or product development lifecycle, including the creation, ingestion, risk mitigation, scaling, commercialization and enforcement phases.
