President Joe Biden (D) announced a new list of candidates for Article III lifelong term in US county and district courts on November 3.
Biden also nominated Kendra Briggs in a non-Article III court, the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Superior Court of DC is a general court in which judges are appointed by the President for a period of 15 years.
Since taking office, Biden has nominated 60 people for federal judgeships in Article III courts. So far, 28 of the nominees have been confirmed.
