Legal services used to be considered expensive and complicated. Now there are a growing number of apps that are making the process easier in an emerging industry called Legal Technology, and industry players see plenty of room for further growth.

The chairman of the Indonesian Regtech and Legaltech Association (IRLA), Marshall Priadi, said the industry has started to flourish in Indonesia in recent years as legal tech is a support system for larger digital economy segments such as fintech and e-commerce.

“I think this industry will be trending for the next five years. It will offer even more solutions for different segments, ”he told Jakarta Post on Friday.
