Legal Tech, ALSPs Won’t Lead to Firm Job Losses—Just Greater Efficiency Demands

The legal services market is growing, but traditional law firms are losing some of their business, according to a meeting during the 2021 Clio Cloud virtual conference. However, the accelerated use of legal technology and alternative legal service providers does not mark the end of law firms, but rather offers companies the opportunity to increase their skills and revenues.

Jae Um, Executive Director of the legal research firm Six Parsecs and former Director of Pricing Strategy at Baker McKenzie, was the keynote speaker at the “Legal Evolution & a More Diversified Legal Market” session on the first day of the Clio Cloud Conference.
