Do these lawsuit settlements mean money for you?

You could be eligible for cash if you are involved in these three class action lawsuits.

What information does TikTok collect about your children? One lawsuit claims it is a lot.

It’s one of three class action settlements that can put money in your pocket.

The TikTok lawsuit alleges the app collected data from users ages 13 and under, which is illegal. The lawsuit claims the video app collected email addresses, phone numbers, full names, and everything else on its profile.

Topclassaction.com’s Scott Hardy says the $ 1.1 million settlement won’t mean much with so many people filing claims. However, if your child qualifies, you can earn anywhere from $ 10 to $ 15.

The deadline for objection is July 24, 2021.

The company did not claim any wrongdoing.

Another class action lawsuit concerns Canidae pet food for dogs and cats.

Labels show a list of ingredients that are supposedly not in the food, but the suit claims a laboratory tested the food and found soy and chicken that were on that “not included” list.

The comparison means that if you purchased the food between July 9, 2016 and April 30, 2021, you will receive $ 5 for every $ 50 spent, up to $ 125 with proof of purchase.

The deadline for objection is July 29, 2021.

The company does not claim any wrongdoing.

When planning a trip to Hawaii or anywhere you may want to ask if all the services are on offer.

A class action lawsuit against selected Hawaiian Marriott International and Kyo-Ya hotels claims there was a staff strike two years ago. The lawsuit alleges that guests were not warned of the strike, which would prevent some services from being offered.

The suit includes these five hotels:

  • The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort
  • The Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach
  • Sheraton Waikiki
  • Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
  • Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

Settlement means that if you stayed at one between October 8, 2018 and November 27, 2018, you could get up to $ 51.29 per night back depending on where and how long you stayed.

The deadline for objection is August 3, 2021.

The business does not claim any wrongdoing.

And while I’m on the subject of traveling in Hawaii make sure you check out COVID travel restrictions. Many of these have been set aside, but there are still requirements that you need to meet before you can get there.
