Denver judge questions facts in dismissed election lawsuit involving Dominion, Facebook

The Denver class action lawsuit is one of a series of overlap and counterclaims that emerged from the presidential election.

DENVER – A federal judge in Denver asked attorneys Friday morning if they rely more on political discussion points than facts in trying to question the November presidential election result.

District Court Judge N. Reid Neureiter asked Denver attorneys Gary D. Fielder and Ernest J. Walker, who filed a class action lawsuit against Dominion Voting Systems, Facebook and elected officials in four states in December. The same judge dismissed the class action in April.

The hearing on Friday was about whether the plaintiffs’ lawyers should face sanctions.

Neureiter urged Fielder and Walker to investigate whether the Denver-based Dominion Voting System was designed to use foreign entities, including China, to conduct elections.

The lawsuit also names Facebook and elected officials in four states (excluding Colorado) and others. The Denver class action lawsuit is one of a series of clashes and counterclaims that arose from the presidential election, as the president falsely claimed he was defrauded but has not yet presented any evidence that has reached court.
