About the lawsuit
Credit Suisse and some of its executives are accused of failing to disclose material information during the classroom, in violation of federal securities laws.
The lawsuit alleges that the company made materially false and misleading statements about its business metrics and financial prospects during the class period. In particular, the Company has kept silent about material shortcomings in its risk policies and procedures, as well as in its compliance monitoring functions and efforts to allow undue leverage for high risk clients, including the disclosure of risks by Greensill Capital (“Greensill”) and Archegos Capital Management (“Archegos”) saw billions in losses.
