Governor Brian Kemp has appointed Judge Danielle P. Roberts to the Superior Court of the Flint Judicial Circuit and Judge Henry R. Thompson to the Superior Court of the Cobb Judicial Circuit from their previous seats in the state courts in both counties. Both newly created Supreme Court seats result from the passage of House Bill 786 during the 2020 session of the Georgia General Assembly.
