Many of the most-profitable law firms have little presence on Twitter

Legal Marketing & Consulting

Some of the top 10 most profitable U.S. law firms in the country are essentially absent from Twitter.

These include Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, who doesn’t have an account, and Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, who apparently opened an account in 2009 but didn’t post any tweets, reports Bloomberg’s blog blog Big Law Business.

There is no photo of the firm in Wachtell’s avatar, and a Twitter search for the firm will reveal Lipton Tea’s account.

Cahill Gordon & Reindel’s account contains a single tweet directing those looking for law firm news to its website.

While some other large companies tweet regularly and have thousands of followers, they focus mostly or entirely on tweeting press releases and the like, the article says.
