Legal Tech’s Predictions for E-Discovery in 2022

It might be an understatement to say that switching to remote work has only changed the complexion of the Discovery. Although the discipline has already shifted to a cloud-based model and focused more on remote collections, the pandemic has put those plans into full swing. Suddenly the world was working from their home computers and on collaboration platforms, making the amount of data to be collected difficult and increasing.

What does it mean to move forward? For discovery practitioners, this means an ongoing period of change as the legal teams continue to get used to working remotely. But it also offers opportunities – not only for more efficient collection and verification methods, but also for using new and innovative technologies in search of a better way of working.
